Weekly Fave Five

Get ready! This week’s fave five is pretty awesome. I’ve gotten a lot of questions on these products (when I did a Live video stream featuring them, incase ya’ll missed it…)

Here are the fave 5 of the week!

Renew Life Protiotic

A must-have in your daily routine. For me, it’s really important to take a probiotic daily. What happens when you’re stressed? Well, you secrete your natural flora (the good bacteria in your stomach the helps you stay healthy), which is why we get sick! I was getting sick often until finally, for the past few months, I’ve totally been in control; daily probiotics have saved me. I try and get it in every form possible, but the best way to ensure you have your dose is through a daily supplement. This one has 50 billion flora, which is pretty norm for every day use.

Dennis Gross

Anti Aging and Self Tanner Wipes

This wipe is pretty wicked. I love to get spray tans, but of course, our face is the first place we lose it. Mostly because it’s the place we wash and scrub most. If you have the slightest bit of dryness you also won’t retain your tan the same way. So, here enter these wipes. They add a little daily glow to your face, I would say for about 3-5 days. I usually use it at night before bed, and the same wipe the next morning or the following night to prolong its use. It has a lot of product on it so you can extend it a bit. Bonus: this product is also packed with tons of skin food like vitamin D, exfoliating agents and anti aging formula for nourishment and repair. It is also known to help calm any face irritations or blemishes. Magical, right?

Vital Proteins

You may have been seeing me pour this into my water lately… that’s because I am in love! Let’s just say, I ran through my container pretty quick. There are three flavours. My fave is the aloe cucumber. It’s super light and only gives the slighted taste of natural flavours. It’s actually a great boost if you’re working out. The powder mixed in with water helps to hydrate the skin and boost collagen production. AKA: firms and improves skin elasticity. Collagen helps the growth and beauty of skin, hair, and nails. This, we like! It contains marine collage for anyone who doesn’t want to have the beef version (like me), no added sugar, gluten free and is just all around amazing. I drank this every day for a week and my best friend said to me, your face looks plump (not fat), but seems to have no lines and no tired-looking eyes. I hadn’t told her about the beauty water… Hmm!

Drunk Elephant

Virgin Marula Oil

This is a yummy antioxidant-rich skin hydrating oil. I say yummy because it leaves your skin feeling replenished and delicious when you use it! It calms irritation and leaves no greasy residue. You can either go for the big sized bottle or a mini one that’s also great for travel. So many people have asked me where I bought it; you can get a mini pack of Drunk Elephant online or at Sephora. Ultimately, the oil helps to restore a healthy, youthful glow. I wasn’t a huge oil user until recently, and I am totally converted! There are so many great ones on the market now.

Kopari

Coconut Body and Hair Oil

Here is another oil I love. Some people use it on their face, but I personally only use coconut oil on my body and hair. No idea why, but it irritates my face and is a bit too heavy for my sensitive skin. That being said, I put this on the ends of my hair after every shower. Because I’m so busy, I often shower at home and make a quick run to my hair dresser for a style so that I get to pick what I am putting in and using on my hair. Like I always say, I try and go 5 days without washing my hair, so you do have to be careful in making sure the oil is only at the ends… but it’s a great way to keep your hair looking fresh come day 3 and 4 when the ends start to become more dry.
